One of the world?s most profitable and useful resources is oil, it is liquid gold. It is also a necessity for the majority of the world?s people to live productive lives. Unfortunately the cost of a gallon of the stuff is rising and so is the cost to find and produce the stuff, from the building of refineries to the salaries of works and employees as well as the digging and pumping of the oil. This demand for oil only grows with the ever growing issue of humans over populating. How can we meet the demands of people while lowering the cost of oil and controlling over population of earth? After countless hours of contemplation I discovered the best catalyst to growth is control. I got the idea from the Egyptians who used hundreds of thousands of servants who worked continuously to build the monuments of their superiors and succeeded. So how do we find a way to be like the Egyptian so we to may succeed. People, instead of paying three dollars and fifty cents a gallon, will pay only a dollar. How could this be profitable? Because along with that dollar you pay you also sell a child for each year you use gas. The children will be requiring of course being above the age of six years old. No smaller and no younger, they would be far too weak for the work. The work they will be sold to do is also very rigorous and dangerous. Of course people will have to breed more, so that they may meet the requirements of their yearly fees. The children who are sold off with be auctioned in bulk to bidders of private industry to work in refineries and drilling plants. They will also serve as construction and normal day workers, from cooks to janitors, providing the necessary services to keep the children alive. These children will work long and hard. The children will work a normal forty hour shift only stopping for short breaks to be educated on proficiency and basic skills. The children will be much easier to control based on their size and mental malleability. Without parent figures to help them or reinforce happy thoughts their mind will easily be swayed to do the will of their keepers. This control ill also save possibly hundreds of children from being misused, hurt, or even abused by their parents yearly and will let them live I a constructive and safe environment, protecting them from dangers. What about those people who drive gas guzzling Hummers and Escalades? Simple, they will pay an annual fee of two children. It?s only fair that they suffer as much as the environment, it will also help people choose more fuel efficient cars. This use of children and the extra contribution of gas guzzling drivers will provide a valuable and costly service for minimal fees which will save companies billions of dollars. What about those people who don?t or can?t have children? This lack of resource will result in a required use of public transport, which of course they will pay a fee. Additionally those lucky children who have loving parents who don?t sell their children into work will be able to experience a less crowded and disruptive class room. The selling of these children will also be keep children off the streets, lowering crime and even minimize vandalism. If you?re worried about what will become of your children we can promise, you?ll always know where they are, what they?re doing, and that they will receiving useful life experience. Of course naturally some children may fall victim to accidents and injury but, can you not die falling off a jungle gym and breaking your neck, while your neglecting parent isn?t watching? Is it not safer to live in a controlled environment with required rules and regulations allowing for optimum safety and control? This is really the best and most resourceful way to lower gas prices. This will allow for the most efficient and money saving plan. Billions will be saved, community safety will rise, greenhouse emissions will go down and the job market will rise with the need to fill jobs such as wranglers, guards, admissions specialist, accountants, supervisors, and even teachers, to provide the supervision of the children. It?s a plan with minimal loses and exponential gains. It?s the best way to deal with two of the world leading problems.

Hello, I am asking this to honestly get the view of those who know about this. I have had the pleasure and honor of breeding and training race horses and as someone who is positive towards racing I want to get the view of other in this community as to what they think about this tragedy. I believe race horses are the same equivalent of Olympic atheletes and as such accidents and injuries do happen...but that these horses LIVE to run and that to disdain what they love to do is the same as saying "well if someone dies or is injured in the olympics it should be outlawed" so in the spirit of understanding and respecting other opinions i want to hear what all of you have to say. Thank you for the positive and constructive responses instead of the continued bashing i have heard elsewhere...as to your comment "pickle+sam" im sorry to say but there was no "fixing" this horse...she shattered the sismoid bones in her ankles...both front ankles were like putty and even broke through the skin...if you look at the photos of her after the accident *hard as it may be* you will see that there is no medical way to repair that kind of injury it was as if her bones had shattered like a pane of glass inside a sock of skin. and if she had to be kept lying down she would have eventually died from drowning in her own body fluids *the frogs of a horses feet act as pumps to return the blood back around the body without them the horses lungs fill up with fluid and they die* if they put her in a sling the same fluid would build up and again a lingering and painfull death...it was trully loving and merciful for her to be put down... to "freedom rider" yes as a future DVM, with my speciality being equine and large animal i have seen my share of race horses with injuries and having to be put down for mercies sake. But on the whole most of these horses are trained in a humane and deliberate manner with the horses safety in mind. you will always find those that train or push thier horses too fast...but for the most part they are trained for the specific purpose of building them up and helping them to withstand the pressures of the race...training is 90% helping the horses body be ready for the track and only 10% is the form needed to race right. And to set the record straight and put aside rumors...the older a horse gets the MORE chance for injury there is...as the bones get harder they are MORE prone to breaking and fracturing...thier muscles have less resistance to tears and strains...and because of that you would see a dramatic increase in injuries if the racing age was higher. The true analgous age difference *horse to human* between a 3yr old and a 5yr old race horse is about the same as a person in thier late teens (3yr old) and someone in their late twenties (5yr old) thank you "john R" for that wonderful statement...i come from a long history of ranchers and have seen bad things happen to the horses that are just loose out in the pasture...so to say that its "horse racings fault" that these injuries happen is completely off base...
