Can I sue the council for an accident that happened in 1986?
In 1986 I was playing on a small slide with cubes designed for climbing, surrounding the slide was concrete. I fell off the top head first, fractured my skull and broke my arm. My parents were probably too naive at the time to claim compensation, but that accident hurt and it was the councils fault. All the injury claims companies I have contacted have said it has to be within three years of the accident. Is there any way around that as I deserve compensation. Concrete in a kids park, ridiculous!!! Since the accident I began having weird thoughts. I thought everybody was a robot. I actually became mentally ill by 1998. Whether the 2 incidents are related i'll never know and there's no way of proving it. It's a shame there are still a lot of twirps using yahoo answers. I dream of a world full of nice pleasent people, and although my dream will never come true I like to hope. :-)

my mate went to magaluf with her mates over the summer and they all went to a bar where she fell of a bar stoo
l and broke her ankle, this was their first night as well so she spent the rest of the week in a foreign hospital, she wants compensation and so she went to like an injury claims company and they said she cant get any because she has no proof she fell off in that specific bar despite lots of pics being taken, she also told me the bar wasnt helpful at all and that they just shushed her out the way, is there any way she can get compensation cos its well sad her hols were ruined and now shes got a metal plate and 4 steel pins in her ankle okay, harsh but completely true comments there. i told her this and she said that she slipped on the floor which was wet because someone spilt their drink and she went to the manager who ignored her.

Complaint against NHS Information Privacy?
Three days ago i had a very bad accident and Ambulance took me to the hospital and in ambulance they filled a form in which i gave my wife name and mobile number as next kin. After attending the hospital when i got back home (3-4 hours) we received a text message on my wife?s mobile from some injury claim company that you are eligible for this much of compensation for the accident you just had. I am just wondering how information is passed in NHS and who does that and really want to complaint against it but just need to know the right channel for this. I was passenger so insurance company may not even have my details how come they got my wife?s number
