training my puppy HELP?
So I have a dacshund who is about 4 months old now and I have been trying to train him to the best of my abilities and I was wondering if I'm being to harsh when doing some of these things.. When I take him outside sometimes ill put him on the ground and say go potty in my command tone and he will run out there and go no problem, but sometimes I have to get the leash because he will not go, so I stand and do not move in the spot and he usually flails around and whines, and the one problem I have is when my girlfriend comes outside and he runs back up to the porch, I want him to listen better. And when he makes a accident on the floor in the house I hold him in a firm position with his nose right in front of, but not touching, his accident. What I'm getting at is how can I make him listen a little better and get him to know that I'm his pack leader?

On July 5th 2010 my son who is (49 yrs old) mentally disable was walking to walmart to get his medications refilled had a seizer. He'd been living in my home\w my disable husband and I for the past 4 months. I am NOT my son's repersentative payee, nor am I his Legal Guardian! My Son has North Bay Regional Center as his repersentative payee; However, when he "was hit by a HIT & Run" driver, left in the street FOR DEAD more than 2 hours I was notified by a neighbor my son had been hit, and was en-route to an emergency hospital nearby. I CONTACTED NORTHBAY REGIONAL CENTER, TRIED TO MAKE CONTACT\W WHOMEVER WAS ASSIGNED TO MY SON & GOT NO RESPONDS FOR 3 Days!! My son laid in U C Davis I C U Truma Unit waitng to have RECONSTRUCTIVE FACE SURGERY, because no one from Northbay Regional Center came forward to acknowledge my son was their client! Is there anything legally I can do about this situtation? My Mentally Disable son needs legal advice while he's in U C Davis Medical Center in Sacramento, California awaiting surgery to have his face & chin repaired, because of a hit & run driver REFUSE to STOP, or make an accident report. (((Help Me Please Someone Out there!))))
