Questions about becoming a lawyer!?
Listen I've done the whole read through people's questions and see all the negative feedback from lawyers about how there are no jobs and the hours suck. I get it you don't become a lawyer and sit back and smoke cigars every night like on boston legal okay?. All I want is a few of my questions answered because I'm trying to consider options for my life and want feedback from lawyers or people who have previously work in a law profession. I understand that there aren't many jobs out for lawyers but aren't there many others types of lawyers? Family lawyers, corporate lawyers, personal injury attorneys! What is the job market like for those? I'm not going to ask questions about salary cause it really doesn't matter if I am passionate about something money won't be an issue. Do lawyers even when they start working full time still have a life? My cousin just got married to a lawyer (i don't know which kind) and the guy never seems to be working. Does you work load depend on what kind of a lawyer you become? If I think of anymore questions I'll post em but try to just answer the questions or feel free to post likes where I can get answers. Also would internships be helpful at all through this process? Thanks!
